Paul is General Counsel for Manulife’s Canada Segment overseeing legal and compliance matters. Paul joined Manulife in 2005 and is a member of the Canada Segment leadership team and Manulife’s Global Leadership Team.

Prior to his current role, Paul held senior compliance roles within Manulife, including Chief Compliance Officer for Canada Segment and Deputy Global Compliance Chief. Paul also acted as Global Chief Privacy Officer for Manulife for 15 years, with oversight of all aspects of the privacy program for Manulife’s global operations. Prior to joining Manulife, Paul held senior compliance positions with the Standard Life Assurance Company at its head office in Edinburgh, Scotland and with GlaxoSmithKline Inc. at its Canadian headquarters.

Paul holds Law and Science Degrees from Western University and an MBA from the University of Edinburgh.
